Test Engineer (m/f) in Vehicle Testing

You've already gained experience as an engineer, but are looking for a new job with a secure future? Then you should consider further education at DEKRA to become a certified expert or inspector. Depending on your previous knowledge, we train you for a minimum period of eight months at our training centre.

After passing the final exam, you can expect multifaceted, varied and secure activities in the areas of vehicle testing (primary inspection/safety inspection), acceptance of technical changes to vehicles (and their trailers) and exhaust inspections.

Accident Analyst (m/f) in Automotive

Accident analysts at DEKRA deal with technical vehicle inspections as a result of traffic accidents and controls. They create expert reports on the accident procedures - from analysis of movement and collision events to the evaluation of photographic evidence. In addition, DEKRA accident analysts verify results obtained by police officers with respect to speed and distance measurements. Naturally, the required legal knowledge is a part of the training.

Damage Expert (m/f) in Automotive

Damage experts at DEKRA assess the damage and the series of events involved in an accident and determine the repair processes and measures. Their neutral assessments are always standard technical, legal and contractual determinations and methods for creation of expert reports and assessments.

You can become a damage expert through training at DEKRA over a period of several months. You can either directly start as a vehicle technician/foreman at DEKRA or depending on experience, as a test engineer after further development.

You have successfully completed your studies in civil engineering or architecture (college or university), already have relevant professional experience and have fundamental technical knowledge, ideally, also in the area of insurance.
