We offer on-the-job training especially for career starters in mechanical or electrical engineering. Our internal training paths for graduates allow you to quickly become a highly trained member of the DEKRA team – whether it's as an expert on pressurised equipment or an expert on lift systems. Prospects at DEKRA are good. In addition to opportunities for further education, we recruit nearly all of our management staff from within our own ranks.
Training as an Expert for Pressurised Equipment at DEKRA (m/f)
You have completed your studies as a graduate engineer in the area of mechanical engineering and have completed professional training and have basic technical knowledge in the area of welding technology. Preferably you already work as a welding engineer. In addition, you have all the characteristics of a successful expert witness - engaging persuasiveness, a high degree of customer orientation and social competence as well as extensive problem-solving abilities. A high degree of commitment in all situations, enthusiasm and team spirit round out your personality and make you a respected business partner.
Your tasks at DEKRA:
- Inspection activities as an employee of ZÜS as part of the approval process,
inspections before initial operation and repeated inspections according to occupational safety regulations.
- Creation of technical expert reports and danger assessments
- Inspection and certification of products according to EC guidelines
- EC design review and EC individual inspection
- Acquisition of new customers and maintenance of the existing customer base
- Calculation, offer preparation and negotiation
- Planning and administration of the business
- Further development and expansion of the business

Training as an Expert for Lift Systems at DEKRA (m/f)
You have completed your studies as a graduate engineer (college or university) in the area of mechanical engineering or electrical engineering and have all the characteristics of a successful expert witness - engaging persuasiveness, a high degree of customer orientation and social competence as well as extensive problem-solving abilities. Full commitment, enthusiasm and team spirit round out your personality and make you a respected business partner. Ideally, you also have excellent foreign language skills.
Your tasks at DEKRA:
- Commissioning and recurring inspection of lifts
- Damage inspections
- Creation of technical expert reports and danger assessments
- Acquisition of new customers and maintenance of the existing customer base
